Watch out, Aretha Franklin.
We already knew Taylor Swift can set records in her sleep. Now she’s taken it to a whole new level, reaching a major music-chart milestone very few artists get to put on their resumés.
As of this week, Taylor officially has 70 (70!) Billboard Hot 100 singles under her belt. Her latest hit — her collab with Zayn Malik, “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” — just debuted at #6. With that, Tay ties for second place on the list of artists with the most Hot 100 hits of all time. Coincidentally, the #2 spot is shared by Nicki Minaj, an artist Taylor clashed with in a Twitter war before the two triumphantly squashed their beef at the 2015 VMAs.
And that’s not all.
Of Taylor’s hits, 20 were Top 10 singles, placing her on a list of only 5 other female artists who have reached or surpassed the 20 mark: Madonna, Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson, Rihanna, and Whitney Houston.
Long story short: She’s still slaying the game and taking names! Congrats, Tay!
